Leicester’s performance last weekend proved that this years title is still up for grabs for any of the top 5 and yes that includes Man United.

The Foxes simply out-classed one of the worlds most expensive clubs and put faith back in the fans that you don’t have to spend big to win the league.

Manchester City’s loss to Leicester was their first in 9-games. Could the recent news of Pep’s arrival in the summer have taken the sting out of The Blues for this season? I doubt it, Man City’s problem this year has been more to do with losing out to top table side and losing key players in the squad.

Tottenham have certainly come in under the radar this season, like they did when they secured fourth spot a few years back. Mauricio Pochettino’s results over the past 18 months have been nothing short of remarkable, with the players working as a unit you can see the confidence they have with each other. Most of the dead-wood appears to have left White Hart Lane leaving a side that has every prospect of not only finishing in the top three, but is very much in the title race.

Given City’s demolishing at the hands of Leicester last weekend I wouldn’t advise betting on them this weekend either. The back-four were woeful at set-pieces and left players with too much space to run at them. The loss of key play-makers such as Silva and Kompany have only compounded the issue and I can see Spurs getting under the skin and irritating Man City early on. With Spurs on such a high at the moment, winning 4 of their last 5 games and only losing 3 games in such a crazy season, I’ll be backing Pochettino and his men all the way.

Pelegrini’s loss of key players continues to grow and includes: Kompany (captain), Nasri, Wilfred Bony, David Silva and Navas.

Spurs have sidelined Vertonghen who has a knee ligament injury.
