Benefits of the card

Online and in-store transactions using your balance
Cash withdraws from any ATM
Contactless payment option available
Unable to go overdrawn on your card, only spend on your balance

The only issue we can see with the card at the moment is that you cannot use the card in Paddy Power bookmaker shops. Not only that but cannot use the card on sports betting or fixed odds betting terminals, which is quite annoying to say the least.

That said, this card has only just been released to the general public so expect a few teething issues and we’re sure that PaddyPower will allow access to their bookmaker branches shortly.

One major plus with the PPlus Paddy power card is that there are no general fees for using the card. You will be charged 1% for any foreign exchange transactions but this fee is about the industry standard with other banks or building societies.

So is it worth getting?

Our verdict is if your a regular punter at Paddy Power it’s definitely worth it and more convenient than transferring money between accounts. For those who only occasionally bet with Paddy it’s probably one more card than you need, but still give it a go as you might realise how beneficial it is and use their site more often.
